General Mills will award one Feeding Tomorrow candidate a paid summer internship. The internship will be in Research & Development or Quality & Regulatory Operations.

Feeding Tomorrow’s Intern+ Offer Package with General Mills Includes: 

  • One (1) paid summer internship for summer 2019 provided by General Mills
  • One (1) $4,800 tuition scholarship for 2019–2020 academic year provided by Feeding Tomorrow General Mills Scholarship Fund
  • Opportunity to attend IFT19 in New Orleans, LA in June 2019
  • Opportunity to connect with other Intern+ recipients for additional networking and learning throughout the summer (virtually and in-person)

 

What General Mills is Looking for in an Intern:

  • Applicant must be a full-time graduate student enrolled in a MS or Ph.D. food science program with an interest in Research & Development or Food Safety/Quality; candidate must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program for fall 2019 to be eligible
  • Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Applicant must be able to work a 10-week internship in summer 2019
  • Applicant must have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
