Purpose: To honor an IFT member for creative research in microbial aspects of food safety.
Award: $3,000 honorarium and a plaque from IFT
Eligibility: The nominee must be actively doing research in microbial aspects of food safety and be 60 years of age or more before December 15 of the year in which the nomination is submitted. The creativity of the research will be a major criterion.
